Five Days of Thankfulness

Today students brought home 5 Days of Thankfulness Sheets.  These sheets are to be completed by you and returned to school by Wednesday, November 19, 2014.  Students are completing the same activities in class. On Thursday, parents and students will share these during Thanksgiving Lunch.

Accelerated Reader Goals

As we move along towards  the end of the second nine weeks, many students are working hard to achieve their AR goals. At this point, students should be at least at 50% of their goals. I'd like to recognize those who are at 50% of their goals or higher.

We created What Does the Quadrilateral Say Posters.
Our class was working on Quadrilateral Sorts.

In class, we have been working very hard.  In math, we have been working on identifying and learning the characteristics of quadrilaterals. We completed Quadrilateral Sorts and What Does the Quadrilateral Say Posters.  This week in math we continue our study of quadrilaterals and will be building a city of buildings containing quadrilateral shapes.  We have been learning about text structures in language arts and soils in science.
