Busy, Busy, Very Busy!

Hello Parents.  It has been a while since our blog has been updated.  We have been very busy with testing and conference week. We are getting back in the swing of things.  Here are some of things that we have been up to.

Tests

This week we will have two tests on Friday.  Friday's tests will be on multiplication/division and Paul Revere. A study guide will come home for the Paul Revere Test  tomorrow.  Please help your child study for this test.

Multiplication Facts

In class, we are working on learning our multiplication facts.  All students have passed their 0's and 1's.  Many have passed their 2's as well. Students are working at their own pace. Please encourage your child to work hard and learn their multiplication facts.  It will be one of the best investments of time your child can make.

AR Goals

The second nine weeks is really moving along. This week is the 4th week of the nine weeks.  At this time, students should be at least at 30% of their AR goals. Congrats to the following people who have met their AR goals.

Ruth                       Jana                          Chaitra               Roger          Layza                          Malik

Trending in our classroom

In our class, we are extremely busy.  Here is what we are covering in our class.
In math, we are working on multiplication and division.  In Language Arts, we are working on nonfiction text structures.  We are finishing up Paul Revere in social studies. We will begin studying soils very soon.

Canned Food Drive

We are collecting can goods to help the unfortunate.  Please send in can goods so that we may help the Girl Scouts to feed the unfortunate during this time of the year.
